SCS Junior Choir
The SCS Junior Choir meet between 6:00pm and 7:00pm on Monday nights in the West Church Hall, Townhead Street, Strathaven, South Lanarkshire.

Following the successful concerts in the second half of 2005 with Kirklandpark Primary School, SCS have established a Junior Choir to encourage singing amongst the children of Strathaven. Developement funding for this venture in the 2006/07 session was been kindly provided by South Lanarkshire Council. The Junior Choir joined the Choral Society at their concerts during the 2006/07 and this will continue during the 2007/08 session.

The 2007/08 season practice dates are:-
Autumn/Winter 2007 Term        10 September 2007 to 10 December 2007
(except the school half term week in October 2006)
Winter/Spring 2008 Term 7 January 2008 to the May 2008 Concert
(except February 2007 half term holiday, Easter Weekend and the Spring School Holiday)       
Additional Practices

Strathaven Choral Society are members of Making Music (previously known as the National Federation of Music Societies - NFMS).
